'Atoms for the Next Generation'-This is the theme of this year's IAEA-Korea Technical Co-operation Exhibition to be held during the 47th IAEA General Conference at Austria Center in Vienna. Opening of the Exhibition will be on 16 September 2003 at 12:45 pm at the exhibition. The exhibition will focus on the future nuclear education and training in compliance with the Agency's endeavor on nuclear knowledge management.
Korea has been held such exhibitions annually during the IAEA General Conference and each time it highlighted technical co-operation with IAEA. This is the seventh exhibition of its series. This year's exhibition is particularly meaningful because the year 2003 is celebrating the 50th Anniversary of 'Atoms for Peace' spirit initiated by then US President Dwight D. Eisenhower. Korea wants to enlighten this important occasion. The exhibition embraces the bona fide spirit as well as view on future nuclear education and training for the next generation and beyond. RCA Regional Office's role in this endeavors is also slightly introduced.
