IAEA/RCA Project Coordinators Meeting (PCM) on “Isotope Hydrology of Geothermal Systems and Adjacent Groundwater Aquifers in East Asia and the Pacific” will be held in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia in 17-21 May 2004. The project aims to promote ample use of isotope techniques with encouraged use of geo-chemical techniques in investigating the impact of geothermal development to the environment and water resources.

The Project Coordinators' Meeting will review the results obtained up to date in project activities at the national and regional levels and make recommendations in an effort to encourage the end-users to apply the techniques. Through the Meeting, it is expected that advanced knowledge and enhanced experiences on the application of isotope hydrology for investigations on geothermal systems and management of the environment will be shared among the RCA Member States.
