Workshop Overview |
This workshop, conducted in co-operation with RCA Regional Office (RCARO) and Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute (KAERI), is designed to introduce radiation application based on the experiences of RCA Member States and Korea. The workshop will consist of lectures, discussions and field trips to the related facilities and equipment. |

Qualifications |
- |
Technical and managerial professionals directly involved in the field of research reactor utilization, radiation application technology, and small and medium-sized reactor in government authorities, R&D institutes and regulatory bodies |
- |
Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in research reactor utilization and radiation application technology as well as having an interest in small and medium-sized reactor |
- |
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required |
- |
- English proficiency is indispensible to speak and communicate with lecturers and other participants. |

※ Please note that selected participants are expected to attend all workshop sessions conducted in English. |

Airline Tickets & Living Expenses |
- |
RCARO will bear the cost of an economy class round-trip air ticket from the nearest INTERNATIONAL airport in residence of the participants to Incheon International Airport (Korea). |
- |
RCARO will provide a nominal amount of living expenses in the form of a cash allowance (per diem). |
- |
RCARO provides standard travel insurance. HOWEVER, the nominating administrators are strongly advised to provide participants with life and medical insurance throughout the entire period of the workshop. RCARO and KAERI shall not be responsible for any loss, injury, or damage to person, property, or otherwise in connection with any accommodation, transportation or other services, resulting directly or indirectly- from any dangers, fires, accidents, strikes, riots, thefts, epidemics, medical or custom department regulations, defaults, or any other causes beyond RCARO’s control. |
